Personale particolarmente cortese. Tavoli preparati con sufficienza. La cucina di buona fattura, talvolta con tonalità eccessivamente provocatorie e rischiose. Prezzo adeguato visto il contesto. Da provare.

The atmosphere at Above 5 was vibrant and welcoming. A stunning view of old Dubrovnik that enhances the dining experience. Being located on the roof above the 5th floor, the restaurant offers an excellent vantage point, making the views even more breathtaking. The service was exceptional. Our waiter was friendly and unobtrusive, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. He presented all dishes with some interesting facts, enriching our dining experience. The menu features a diverse selection of dishes that truly showcase a blend of local and international flavors. Each dish was incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented; it’s clear that this restaurant is just a step away from being Michelin starred. All appetizer was delicious, and for the main course, we enjoyed each bite. The culinary experience was simply outstanding. The desserts were delightful and capped the meal perfectly. The drink menu was extensive, offering a good variety of wines that paired wonderfully with the food. The cocktails, like the food, were Michelin-starred level in terms of creativity and flavor, making them a must-try. Overall, dining at Above 5 was a memorable experience. It’s a great spot for a date night, special occasions, or just a meal with friends. I would definitely recommend it to others and look forward to visiting again. Above 5 Rooftop Restaurant in Old Town was over the top in every area you could rate them from being greeted immediately when we walked in the front door to our good byes!There were 4 of us dining out our last evening in Dubrovnik; and we could not have chosen a more suitable spot! We all had something different; and we were all amazed at the quality of food, presentation, temperature and I definitely the service.The only negative would be that you have to climb close to 86 steps to get up to the rooftop - so if anyone has leg or back issues .... you may want to reconsider. Also be prepared for an expensive evening - especially if you have a few drinks.
