Dopo essersi goduti il Marco Polo House, potrebbe essere una buona idea andare in questo ristorante. Gli ineguagliabili hamburger di manzo, manzo e pasta ti impressioneranno al primo assaggio. L'atmosfera ospitale di questo locale dipende in larga misura dal personale, che qui è davvero attento. Rimarrai sicuramente contento del fichissimo servizio. We went to Alavija mid May 2026 for dinner on a recommendation from a winery nearby. We were the only people there, which we can only chalk up to street presence as it was the best meal I had in Korcula. We had great service as a result so I can’t speak to that so much, but the pesto gnocchi is incredible. The lemon on it is perfect, and even though I don’t love sun dried tomatoes I ate most of them since they paired so well with the sauce. Fantastic combination. My partner got the smash burger and while she wouldn’t call it a smash burger, it was a very well-made, meal-sized burger, and she says that the pickles were particularly good. Of note, it does not come with any sides (but frankly doesn’t need them). The only negative I can mention is that we were asked by our server what tip we wanted to add to the card machine (10,15,20%) so she could put it in for us - the only time we’ve even been asked to tip in Croatia. It’s a pretty mild con, but it was little off putting. Overall, would absolutely recommend eating here! Price per person: €20–25 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: One main vegetarian option, the pesto gnocchi - but it is excellent, and this is on par with number of vegetarian options on menus in the area.

rude and disrespectful staff member our waiter was nice and respectful , other member shouted at our friend wko is sick! Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–25

We are truly sorry to hear about your experience and I do not wish to justify my colleague’s reaction. Still, we kindly ask for understanding that coming to a public place while feeling unwell may put both staff and other guests at risk. The pandemic has reminded us all how important it is to protect one another, especially the more vulnerable among us.
