Simone Poggetto of the Locanda del Gallo in Chianni has caressed with the help and support of his trusty Francesco a new project a little different from that of the "Locanda" but always directed along the lines of careful research into excellent quality raw materials and revisiting of old Tuscan recipes. Al Panino is the ideal place for lovers of the sandwich in the version conceived many years ago in Livorno by Giovanni and later by Wheelhouse. Excellent quality bread that is filled, by Simone's creativity according to the customer's tastes, with carefully and expertly selected sausages, meats and preserved products and seasoned with the sauces of its own production. Among the many proposals, I would like to point out the sandwich with boiled meat and green sauce, the "Gricia", the spectacular hot dog, the pulled pork and many other specialties offered from Monday to Friday. Every Monday to those who have sent their mobile number on WhatsApp the weekly menu is sent. The place is small but has a nice external porch. Being on the Aurelia near the airport there is a bit of noise but during the tasting of the sandwiches you don't particularly notice because you are totally absorbed by the goodness of what you are eating.
