Ci sono ritornato ieri sera per una cena di compleanno. Il cibo, dal misto di antipasti (insalata di mare, polpo arrosto, calamaro ripieno, fiori di zucca, ecc), ai ravioli capresi, ai paccherri allo scoglio, alla tagliata di frutta e alla torta, tutto eccellente, delicato e squisito. Personale cortese e gentile. Location stupenda. Bravo Lucio, un plauso ai cuochi.

We recently dined at Ristorante Il Geranio Capri and while the food was good, the experience was overshadowed by the shockingly poor behavior of the staff. We had made a booking a week in advance with several emails confirming our booking. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that we were being judged as we were placed on a table in a corner when there were nicer settings available. The staff were rude, arrogant, and displayed a blatant lack of respect. Worse yet, their behavior crossed the line into homophobia, and ageism, making us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable before we even placed our order. To top it off, after pouring our wine, a staff member casually threw a cloth across our table as if we were an afterthought, as well as trying to clear our plates while we were still eating. It’s a shame that a restaurant with decent food is so deeply flawed by the terrible attitudes of its staff. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values respect and proper service.
