Opok27 was an unforgettable dining experience and easily one of the best in the region. From the very first bite, we knew we were in for something special. The appetizers were simply mouthwatering we ordered four starters to share between three people, and every single one was so good it left us eager for the next. For the main course, I had the rabbit, and I can say without hesitation it was the best rabbit dish I’ve ever had absolutely delicious. My companions enjoyed a beautifully prepared fowl bird and rabbit as well, each dish executed perfectly. Dessert was the perfect finale: a panna cotta with raspberries and white chocolate that was so balanced and flavorful that I still find myself craving it. After dinner, we were given a tour of their impressive wine cellar, where they also produce their own wines. I have to admit I’m usually skeptical about wine pairings, often seeing them as a way to upsell guests. But this time was different. Every wine served truly elevated its dish, complementing the flavors in perfect harmony. For the first time, I truly understood what “wine pairing” means. Opok27 is a must-visit, even if it’s out of your way. The food, the wines, and the overall experience make it well worth the journey.
