Locale tipico dove mangiare piatti tradizionali. Si trova davanti al castello di Bracciano e offre piatti molto gustosi. Ottima la porchetta. Menù un po ristretto. Servizio gentile e disponibile. Consigliato. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €10–20 Wheelchair accessibility: Si, si trova lungo la strada, quindi accessibile per i disabili.

Bracciano has been the main place for food and wine specialties in the Lazio area between Rome and Tuscia for over a hundred years. I remember half a century ago when I was a child how there were so many wine cellars where you could eat porchetta, cured meats and local cheeses. Well today Bracciano has remained the same as an urban structure and scenic beauty but there has been an incredible change in the food and wine offer: the gourmet triumphs and there are no more wine cellars. I wonder what sense this transformation has since gourmet is now everywhere: even the most miserable trattoria offers the gourmet dish with the ingredient or method that pursues the so-called haute cuisine. So Fraschetta La Moretta should be a place sponsored and protected by cultural heritage (provided that the Ministry is still functioning) as it offers what are the authentic products of the territory and of the Braccianese tradition. Above all, the absolutely unsurpassed artisan porchetta made in medieval mode stands out. And the dish is inside a basket of local gastronomic delights that satisfy even the most demanding palates because they are produced according to the most modern canons of the third millennium Mediterranean diet: organic and eco-sustainable. One could almost say that this is the most gourmet place in Bracciano, but one does not want to belittle the artisan, cultural and food skills of the managers and their suppliers. For those who visit Bracciano it is absolutely unmissable to understand what this medieval-Renaissance place with a breathtaking viewpoint was and what it represents.
